Hawaii 2013

Vacation carries a new meaning when traveling with a 14 month old. We had a blast in Hawaii with our wild man, Nana and Pops. The flight was extremely tiring, but Wyatt did relatively well. He did a great job of adjusting to the time change, although his wake up time was 5 AM for the first 7 days. We are so glad we were able to share the Big Island with him!

After the first day at the Hilton Lagoon, Wyatt loved the beach and sand. We didn't have to lure him in the water--not at all--he would beat us into the water.

Christmas Cheer 2012

We discovered this year that Wyatt was not yet ready for Santa.  The picture is priceless and will come out during his Rehearsal dinner slideshow one day!

He did enjoy listening to the boys choir at Murphy's in Virginia Highlands. He and his  playgroup friends eagerly awaited the arrival of Santa. Only Wyatt survived till arrival. All the others were pooped.

During the week of Christmas, Wyatt got to spend a ton of time with his Cousins--constant entertainment!!
Playing in Aunt Merrie's cabinets with James is so much fun!!

Happy 1st Birthday Wyatt!!

We had a blast celebrating Wyatt's first birthday on December 2nd. Steve smoked some pork butt and we had approximately 13 children and 20 adults. I couldn't settle on a theme, so we just had a good old fashion birthday party with a ton of balloons and confetti.

Halloween Chicken

Shortly after we moved into our new house, we celebrated Halloween with our new Neighborhood! Everyone convened on Noble Park for a Halloween parade. We did two laps around the park led by the neighborhood bagpipe player.
