Burt's Farm & Bad Dog Tater

We traveled up to Burt's Pumpkin Farm with the Bouton cousins for Columbus day.  For Wyatt, there was a lot to take in as we meandered through the rows of pumpkins. He got to see a ton of different varieties of pumpkins--small ones, gigantic ones, white ones, funky ones, etc.

Wyatt particularly enjoyed the Hayride, which was surprisingly good. The tractor took us through a field of beautiful sunflowers and rows of pumpkins. We also saw giant talking pumpkins. What Wyatt enjoyed most was being free to crawl around in the hay and engage the other riders.

One of my favorite memories of the day was the cute, tiny pumpkin that Kacie gave to Wyatt. Now, it is no secret that Kacie loves her younger cousin Wyatt. We brought the pumpkin home and Wyatt played with it, gummed it, dropped it over and over--the norm. Earlier this week, I noticed that Bad Dog Tater was quietly hiding from my view. I should have known the bad dog was up to no good. When I looked around the coffee table he was going to town on the pumpkin. That rascal had nabbed Wyatt's cute little pumpkin! He devoured it the entire pumpkin stem and all. This is a perfect example of why he is "Bad Dog" Tater.
